These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by Power Line Electrical Contractors LLC, a licensed Tennessee electrical contractor (TN Electrical Contractor #82227).

Information on this site is general

The service descriptions, safety explanations and answers to common questions published here are general information about electrical work. They are not a diagnosis of your particular system and not instructions for you to follow. Electrical systems differ, and what is correct in one building can be unsafe in another.

Do not use this website as a guide to performing electrical work yourself. Contact with energised conductors can kill, and incorrect work can cause a fire long after it appears to be functioning. Where this site says that a situation needs a licensed electrician, that is not a sales line.

Estimates and pricing

Nothing on this website is an offer, a quotation or a fixed price. Any figure discussed by phone or email before we have seen the work is an indication only. A binding price exists once we have inspected the work and given you a written scope and price, and it is limited to that written scope. Conditions we could not see beforehand — inside walls, behind panels, underground — may change the scope, and if that happens we will tell you before continuing.

Requests submitted through this site

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract and does not book an appointment. We will contact you to confirm. Do not rely on a web form for an urgent or dangerous situation — call instead.

Licensing

We perform work under Tennessee Electrical Contractor #82227 and carry liability insurance. We do not perform work outside the scope of that licence, and we do not perform work we are not competent to perform.
