College Grove is an unincorporated community in the southeastern part of Williamson County, out where the subdivisions stop and the farmland takes over. It is a rural crossroads community with a lot of land around it, and the electrical work here has more in common with agricultural work than with suburban service calls.

The community itself is small — a crossroads, a few institutions, houses along the roads that meet there. What surrounds it is the reason people come: rolling country, working farms, horse property and large parcels, some of which have been sold on and rebuilt as substantial private estates in the last couple of decades. That mix means we may be in a barn one day and a new custom house the next.
Barns, arenas and equipment
Equestrian and agricultural buildings are their own discipline. Lighting has to be positioned and protected sensibly, fittings have to survive dust and washdown, receptacles need locating where the work happens, and fans, heaters, waterers and wash-stall equipment all draw more than a general-purpose circuit should carry. Arena lighting is a load in its own right and deserves a panel and circuits that were planned for it.
The starting point is nearly always the feeder. A building several hundred feet from the meter needs conductors sized for that distance, a disconnect and panel at the building, and a proper grounding electrode there. Where that was skimped originally, the symptoms are motors that struggle, lights that dim on start-up and equipment that runs hot.
Large houses on large lots
Estate property brings a long list of its own: generator connections, multiple subpanels, drive and entrance lighting, gate operators, pool and pool-house circuits, guest quarters, home offices that need real network cabling, and enough charger capacity for more than one vehicle. Coordinating all of that against the available service is a load calculation before it is anything else.
Landscape and exterior lighting is a frequent request out here, where drives are long and the nearest streetlight is a fiction. Done properly, that means correctly rated transformers and fittings, cable buried where it should be, and control that still works in five years.
Older farmhouses
Plenty of the original houses are still in use, and they carry the electrical history you would expect: partial rewires, fuse panels, ungrounded circuits and services never intended for a modern household. We assess rather than assume, and we will tell you where the real risks sit and what can sensibly be deferred to a renovation.
